Paul Cook

Paul Cook, Ph.D., is senior director of program management at Generation Bio, a biotechnology company innovating genetic medicines for people living with rare and prevalent diseases. In his role, Paul works specifically to support the research and development organization in three distinct capacities: empowering research teams to advance the underlying science of Generation Bio’s novel DNA construct; leading the forum for R&D research; and working directly with senior leaders to guide the growth and development of the R&D efforts.  Prior to joining Generation Bio, Paul worked in a project management consultancy, working with dozens of LS companies from startups to the largest pharma on business process, product development, regulatory and compliance initiatives. Paul earned his Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the University of California Berkeley, is a Certified PMP and Scrum Master.  Paul has taught project management courses on risk and cost and has been a speaker at numerous life science and project management conferences.
