Sponsors of a project – perhaps investors, or certainly senior organisation managers, may not be involved in the operations of a project but need periodic updates on progress.
In an organisation that has c. 5+ projects running, freeform conversations about each can take a lot of time and be confusing. It helps to have each project report against some standardised measures, enabling proper comparisons and communicating in a fairly simple way whether things are on track.
In this eLearning course, we will explain ‘metrics’ – various things that the project team defines that will be useful and meaningful measures of progress. The types of metrics and tips to define them – will be covered.
This course will be available from 31st May 2022.
