Individual projects may be proceeding enthusiastically in your company. But to what degree can senior management get accurate and timely information about them? For investors’ questions, for example.

This is often a challenge in a small organisation, still working to build advanced project systems and work practices.  There are often mismatches between bits of information held at different levels; some may be out of date. What’s supplied in response to senior requests also can be at the wrong level of detail.

This challenge has often been met by companies buying new systems/software packages. They might have useful functionality this is only half of the answer, and these systems frequently become distrusted.
